Our Mission
In order to prepare students to live in and contribute to a changing world and engage in active, lifelong learning, Focus Learning Academy of Northern Columbus provides a balanced, varied school curriculum designed to meet the academic, cultural, and social needs of individuals from diverse backgrounds of our community. Our mission is to empower all students.
Our History
FLANC was founded in 2007. FLANC is a public community charter school that services approximately 700 students from Kindergarten through eighth grade. The school’s population consists of mostly Somali-American students.
We pride ourselves on our history. We have been making a difference in the lives of children for 16 years and we hope to continue serving our community for years to come.
